Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to all services provided by YARK (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED ("Yark", "we", "us") operating at yark.pk. Yark delivers digital agency services — including AI automation, web and app development, custom AI, and AI marketing. All services are intangible and delivered digitally. No physical goods are sold.

2. Deposits

All project engagements require an upfront deposit to commence work. Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun. The deposit amount is agreed in writing before any work starts and is clearly stated in the project invoice or Statement of Work.

3. Milestone payments

Projects are structured around milestones. Each milestone is invoiced upon completion and delivery. Milestone payments are non-refundable once the deliverable has been reviewed and accepted by the client. If a client disputes a milestone deliverable, Section 5 (Revisions) applies before any refund consideration.

4. Cancellation

Either party may cancel a project engagement at any time by providing written notice to support@yark.pk.

Upon cancellation:

  • The client is invoiced for all work completed up to the cancellation date, calculated on a pro-rata basis against the agreed project fee.
  • Any work completed and paid for is delivered to the client in its current state.
  • The deposit and any paid milestones are non-refundable.
  • No cancellation fee is charged beyond the cost of work already completed.

Cancellations take effect within 2 business days of written notice being received and acknowledged by Yark.

5. Revisions and unsatisfactory work

If a deliverable does not meet the agreed specification, the client must raise this in writing within 5 business days of delivery. Yark will provide up to 2 rounds of revisions at no additional cost to bring the deliverable in line with the original specification.

Revision requests that expand the original scope are treated as new work and quoted separately.

6. Refund eligibility

A partial or full refund may be issued only in the following circumstances:

  • Yark fails to deliver any work within the agreed timeline and has not communicated a revised timeline in writing.
  • The delivered work materially and demonstrably fails to meet the written specification after 2 revision rounds.
  • A duplicate payment has been made in error.

Refunds are not issued for change-of-mind, scope changes initiated by the client, or delays caused by the client failing to provide required materials or approvals on time.

7. Refund process and turnaround

To request a refund, email support@yark.pk with your invoice number and a description of the issue. We will respond within 2 business days to acknowledge your request.

Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days of approval. Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

8. Currency

All prices are quoted and invoiced in United States Dollars (USD). Refunds are processed in the same currency as the original payment.
